A business restructure following a high profile and complex EMEA transformation programme and integration project, alongside the merger of two large businesses, has created an exciting opportunity for a qualified accountant to undertake an EMEA Finance Projects Analyst role. Supporting Projects, Business Development and M&A activity within the EMEA region, you will be responsible for finance business partnering on strategic initiatives and supporting key stakeholders to build reporting, drive operations and deliver business expansion. Your brief includes:
- Leading internal projects to optimise Finance processes - Supporting the Project team in the implementation of automated processes including coordinating the Finance workstream in European countries to ensure standardisation & simplification - Supporting analysis, modelling & reporting of EMEA strategic initiatives including Projects, Business Development and M&A activity - Financial business partnering with EMEA Leadership team in evaluating & modelling key growth and M&A initiatives - Supporting operations delivery across all EMEA countries including creating & enhancing financial visibility and the operating metrics for decision making - Leading the creation of a new P&L service lines within EMEA and supporting international business growth - Improve visibility for Senior Leadership reporting on key business metrics
As a graduate ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified accountant, having trained within the Big 4/Top 10 or a blue-chip FTSE environment, you will possess a strong track record in an EMEA or international Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) function. With existing Finance Business partnering skills, you will demonstrate evidence of supporting strategic initiatives, project management and/or M&A activity, senior stakeholder management experience, advanced Excel skills and, ideally exposure to HFM and/or Essbase. The role demands commercial focus, outstanding interpersonal skills and confidence in challenging and influencing key decision makers.
