BAA Recruitment Case Study

Harcourt Matthews were invited to support BAA during a specific recruitment drive across 3 airports in the South East - Heathrow, Gatwick and Stansted - requiring high calibre individuals to take on commercially focused roles working closely with the airport senior management to support the decision-making process. BAA had historically used a PSL, which was proving unsuccessful in recruiting suitable individuals.

This situation gave Harcourt Matthews a short-term opportunity to support the recruitment programme, and a long-term opportunity to establish a credible reputation with BAA, which led us to be a preferred supplier to the business.

Having established the needs of the organisation, Harcourt Matthews provided a short lists of candidates for two of the three sites. Five candidates were selected for initial interview stage, of these, two progressed to 2nd interview and then onto a full day assessment. We successfully placed one individual with the business. This process has been repeated on several occasions.

Harcourt Matthews has subsequently recruited across the finance community at Qualified and Part Qualified level, for both permanent and interim & temporary assignments.
