As a household name within the Travel sector, this highly successful group is supported by private equity investment, and continues to enjoy significant profitable growth across all sales channels. Ongoing development of new products, services to achieve ambitious strategic plans and internal restructuring has created a 12-month assignment for a commercially focused Financial Controller. A broad brief includes: ·Management of the finance team responsible for monthly financial reporting, quarterly consolidations and year end statutory accounting ·Review of monthly management accounts for group cost centres ·Control of annual budgeting, forecasting & variance analysis ·Advising budget holders on financial performance & costs ·Supporting adhoc projects on investment & expenditure As a qualified accountant with proven commercial acumen, you will demonstrate strong financial reporting, analysis and budgeting skills, hands on team management experience and evidence of providing financial support to budget holders.
