Internal restructuring has created an exciting entry point for a technically strong Finance Manager to support the Head Office finance team. Your brief includes: ·Management of a team of 8 including 2 direct reports ·Managing month end financial close ·Preparation of monthly consolidation pack, balance sheet & commentary ·Preparation of annual financial statements for year end ·Implementation of improved month end processes & controls ·Management of transition from UK GAAP to IFRS ·Investigating & resolving technical accounting issues As a qualified accountant having trained within a Top 10 firm or large plc, you will demonstrate strong technical accounting, UK GAAP & IFRS knowledge, alongside proven experience of implementing best practice & systems improvements.
