| Job Description: | Our manufacturing client based in West Yorkshire have been trading since the early 90s Now trading in the UK and Europe . The client is currently seeking to appoint a Fabrication room Manager. Opening up a fantastic opportunity for a suitable candidate to join a well established, fast paced, forward thinking, secure company. The role will be as diverse as it is challenging with the responsibility for the fabrication department reporting directly to senior management and working closely with Directors to ensure that the systems comply with and in accordance with the companys quality standards.The suitable candidate will need to have previous Management experience within a fast paced manufacturing environment. You will be responsible for distributing work throughout the department; ensuring time constraints are met, so the ability to work well under pressure is essential. You will be charged with the responsibility and be able to introduce best working practices across the department. You will plan and present shift overtime arrangements in accordance with workloads and be responsible for staff appraisals. Be able to motive staff and empower staff to develop skills within the department. | |
