Continued business growth through new product format & launch has created an opportunity for a Category Manager to support a developing Procurement function. A broad brief includes: *Supporting strategic & tactical responsibility for specific category groups company-wide *Coaching & development of purchasing staff in strategic procurement delivery & process *Assisting with the implementation of strategic & tactical procurement processes for each category *Negotiation, implementation and management of supplier agreements *Supporting the standardisation of contract management, introducing new solutions & procedures Additionally, you will benchmark pricing against existing negotiated agreements & evaluate market trends. As an experienced Category Manager, demonstrating strong knowledge of procurement ?know how?, you will be a proactive individual capable of managing stakeholders, implementing best practice & achieving financial savings.
