Operating within the highly competitive Facilities Management market, this household name specialises in technology, construction and network infrastructure maintenance FM, outsourcing and integrating services to major UK Corporate & public sector clients. Due to internal promotion, an exciting opportunity has arisen for a Category/Procurement/Purchasing Manager to support a key business category. Your brief includes: *Further development of category purchasing policies & procedures *Implementation of procurement controls, systems and processes *Advising budget holders on procurement pricing, contracts & service level agreements with suppliers *Management and control of tendering, negotiation, budget expenditure on goods & services Demonstrating a proven track record of implementing and developing robust purchasing frameworks within a multisite technical environment, you will be adept at supplier sourcing, contract negotiation, building strong supplier relationships and supporting operations managers on procurement procedure and best practice. |
