Operating within the highly competitive Facilities Management market, this household name specialises in technology, construction & network infrastructure maintenance FM, outsourcing & integrating services to major UK Corporate & public sector clients. Due to internal promotion, an exciting opportunity has arisen for a Category/Procurement/Purchasing Manager to support a key business category. Your brief includes: *Further development of group procurement & category purchasing methods policies & procedures *Implementation of procurement controls, systems & processes *Advising & directing budget holders on procurement pricing, contracts & service level agreements with suppliers *Management & control of a team managing category tendering, negotiation, budget expenditure on goods & services CIPS qualified & demonstrating a proven track record of implementing & developing robust purchasing frameworks within a multisite technical environment, you will be adept at team management, supplier sourcing, contract negotiation, building strong supplier relationships & supporting operations managers on procurement procedure & best practice. |
