This Business Services group has developed an enviable reputation for delivering corporate solutions & support to an impressive client portfolio. Profitable expansion as the result of ambitious strategic targets, alongside the on-going development of a unique service offering, has ensured continued success within a niche marketplace. Due to a maternity leave, a 12-month assignment for a Financial Controller exists to support the group. A broad & varied brief includes: * Control & coordination of the monthly financial accounts preparation for group entities * Review of existing procedures & implementation of process efficiencies * Analysis of transactions systems to mitigate risks & controls * Ensuring key compliance issues are understood & addressed * Management & development of the group finance team As a qualified accountant with a strong academic track record, you will demonstrate a technical accounting focus, hands on staff development skills & evidence of systems & process improvement, ideally gained within a large corporate business environment. The role demands attention to detail, the gravitas to influence change & self-motivated, proactive approach. |
