Operating within the highly competitive Facilities Management market, this household name, t/o £280m, specialises in technology, construction & network infrastructure maintenance, outsourcing & integrating services to major UK Corporate & public sector clients. An exciting Temporary to Permanent opportunity exists for a Trainee Finance Accountant / Accounts Receivable Manager to support the Head Office Financial Controller. A varied brief includes: *Day to day financial management & reporting of Accounts Receivable & Credit Control team; Reviewing & improving monthly processes & controls *Review & delivery of debt management targets, cash management for working capital review, Bad Debt & Aged Debtors analysis; Providing daily & weekly cash flow reporting *Coordination of invoice reconciliations to GL, cash allocation & account reconciliation, VAT returns & Intrastat *Balance sheet reconciliations, review & sign off of bank reconciliations *Revaluation of AR & AP month end balances As a trainee part qualified accountant with 2 years plus financial accounting & transactions experience, you will demonstrate strong staff management skills, an eye for detail & the ability to implement process improvements. The role offers an excellent entry point into a Plc environment with continued training & career development. Immediate start available. |
