The business has continued to build its strong reputation for quality & market success through ongoing investment & ambitious strategic plans. A new opportunity for a Category Manager has been created to support the Head of Procurement. A broad brief includes: *Acting as Category Lead for sourcing strategy & category management including energy & utilities, IT&S, Catering *Understanding demand & supply factors in each category area *Review, analysis & reporting for category spend *Identifying opportunities to minimise procurement risk & cost *Promoting best practice in contracting & purchasing processes With proven experience gained within single or group category procurement, ideally in a multi-site business environment, you will demonstrate a track record in achieving cost savings, implementing best practice & influencing decision makers on procurement activity. This role offers an excellent developmental opportunity within an expanding group. |
