As an independent, multi-site schools education service & delivery group, this highly successful, profitable organisation supports a broad range of independent educational organisations. Focusing on academic standards, strong pastoral support and student success, on-going investment and ambitious plans have created a high profile opportunity for a Procurement Manager backing the organisation. Supporting the Commercial Manager and CFO you will aid in developing procurement strategies and manage a Business Analyst. Your brief includes: *On-going development of group procurement best practice & purchasing policy & procedures *Implementation of procurement controls, systems & processes *Maximise benefits from group purchasing opportunities *Advising budget holders on procurement pricing & contracts & service level agreements *Management & control of budget expenditure on goods & services *Prepare all relevant documentation for strategy approval by Executive Board *Establish a framework based on preferred suppliers for approved products & services categories & periodically review supplier performance *Minimise risks, reduce costs & add value As a graduate with relevant experience or CIPS qualified, you will demonstrate a proven track record of implementing & developing robust purchasing frameworks within a multisite environment, ideally with an understanding of the Education sector. You will be adept at supplier sourcing, contract negotiation, building strong supplier relationships & monitoring SLA`s. With the capability of working autonomously, you will be a self-starter with excellent communication skills as the role works closely with a range of functional teams & Business Managers. |
