As a private equity backed Business Services group, this organisation supports UK clients across several key sectors providing Social & Housing outsourced property maintenance, repairs & services to public & private sector businesses. Huge growth & on-going expansion has created a new position for an experienced Procurement Manager to support purchasing procurement. Supporting the Procurement Director & the regional Finance Director, your brief includes: *Developing policy & managing all aspects of procurement & supply chain *Leading procurement activities across a range of categories - delivering savings & value for money *Providing a purchasing service that ensures best value & quality whilst supporting ethical environmental issues *Supporting the development & implementation of category strategy & supplier management programmes *Monitoring supplier performance against agreed service levels As either CIPS qualified or qualified by experience, you will demonstrate a track record within the Construction (Sub-Contracting) or the Facilities Management PM (Sub-Contracting) sector operating in a high volume direct & in direct purchasing & procurement, arena within a multi-site environment. The ability to implement change, strong negotiation skills & the gravitas to influence senior management is essential. |
